Using the Swing Studio

* Members and guests should use an external route to bring their clubs to the swing studio. Clubs cannot be carried through the main building at ANY time *

If first in the swing studio (i.e. no users already in there and the lights are off), follow these simple steps to get you started:

1. Press both light buttons on the inside left of the studio door to switch on the studio lights. Adjust light to your preference; 

2. Check that there are 6 balls in the holder and tees in the box. If there are not, check underneath the main screen and report to bar staff and ask them to contact swing studio admin;

3. Point the projector remote control at the projector and press its red button for a second until you see the projector's on/off light flash to green;

4.  Turn on the touchscreen TV to left of opposite door by pressing the on/off button underneath its bottom right corner;

5.  Turn on the air ventilation system by looking underneath the table for a single button marked "venting";

6.  Turn on the air conditioning to cool or heat the room as required by pressing the red on/off button on its remote control;

7. Optional: Use the TV remote control to turn on the TV underneath the computer box so that you can watch whatever channel is playing in the bar area nextdoor.

NOTE: When finishing a session, and no one is using the studio after you, please repeat the above steps in reverse to turn everything off (leave the PC on in its cupboard). Also, please return the balls to the holder and tees to the tees box.

* Please only use the balls and tees provided in the swing studio. These are safe to use against the expensive projection screen as they will not mark and cut like personal balls might do. The swing studio balls are top quality balls but marked with "practice" to stop people accidentally taken them onto the golf course. *
